Ben's garden was wildly successful this year. The challenge as been using all the yield before it rots. I'm sure my mom never expected me to borrow her canning supplies, but that's exactly what I had to do to make use of all Ben's tomatoes. I managed to bottle some tomatoes. Ben has made a half dozen batches of salsa, including one salsa verde. He made some pasta sauce that didn't turn out so well. We dumped those. He made some BBQ sauce that is quite tasty and we've dried many, many tomatoes. I think we'll be enjoying this summer's tomatoes well into next summer. Thanks, Ben. I do love tomatoes, but maybe you should cut down on the number of plants next year. What do you think?
