Snowbird

The Utah Senate Democrats held their annual fundraiser at Snowbird this weekend. We spent Friday night at the Cliff Lodge. The kids and Ben swam Friday evening and Saturday morning. We enjoyed a quick lunch with the dems and then a day of activities at Snowbird. Ben and Kate, James and Robert took a chairlift up the summit to take in the view. The kids were very surprised to find that it was cold at the top and there was still some snow.

Robert, Isaac and I are the unidentifiable people on the chairlift in front of the magnificent mountain.
Kate and James ride by themselves. Scary for me! Are they really big enough? This was on our way up to the hotel before leaving for the day. Ben and are are definitely outnumbered now. Kids can't ride alone, but they can ride together. I rode with Robert and Isaac in a carrier (above), Kate and James rode together, and Ben walked. They only allow two per chair. I'm not sure if they didn't see Isaac on my chest or if he doesn't count?

Isaac thoroughly enjoyed the day (insert sarcasm).
Panning for gemstones. (At a mere $7 per bag of rocks, our kids shared a bag.)
