It poured buckets in Salt Lake on Saturday morning. I wasn't sure if the soccer game would be on or not despite the indication on the league's website that they play rain or shine. Kate thought it might be fun to play in the rain and I was happy that at least we were going with the positive attitude. As it turned out, only four kids on our team showed up for the game and since four play at a time, that was enough to get started. Despite not having a chance to sit out for a break, our team's four little players did great and had a ton of fun. They even managed to win the game, 6 to 5. (James scored 5 of the 6 goals.) The rain let up about half way through the game, which was nice for the spectators, but didn't seem to make a bit of difference to the players. Way to go Kate and James!

Rain or Shine
My two wet soccer players . . .
