Just check out those expressions.
Each face is so telling of what each of them was thinking about while being photographed.
Robert: so happy being Yoda and finally out the door to go trick-or-treating.
James: so proud of his costume and the fun day he had at school showing it off.
Kate: willing to pose, but only because she had to in order to get the show on the road to record candy accumulation. She insisted on a pillowcase this year.
Isaac: completely unaware of what was going on or what he was wearing. But Kate's hand sure is interesting.
Robert was a full Halloween participant this year. At 3, he has no trouble keeping up with every step his 6-year-old siblings take.

Our third Halloween cow - also a practical additional layer
that was just perfect for the pleasant Fall Halloween evening.

Robert picked his costume and made a perfect little Yoda. His preschool also had a parade. They trick-or-treated at the Park building (where I work on campus) and entertained the students and administration all along the way.

Notice the little girl wailing next to Robert. She sat there crying for the duration of the time parents were taking pictures of the class. No one was forcing her to stay, so I find it sort of funny that she just sat there miserable. Poor thing (but sort of funny).
