Today was the last soccer game of the season for Kate and James. They have looked forward to and loved playing soccer the last several weeks. James scored multiple goals in every game and his ability to maneuver with the ball improved weekly. Kate enjoyed the games, but is much less aggressive and interested in wrestling the ball from the mob (or running with it on her own). Still, she had a fantastic season and loved it. When they start up in the Spring, she wants to score a goal. We'll try to work on things with her as much as we can during the winter. The pictures include 8 of the 10 kids on their team. Naturally, with the red shirts, they dubbed themselves the Utes. In the picture below they yelled, "Go Utes!"
Incidentally, this pictures was taken about 30 minutes before the Utah vs. TCO game began today. That game was a disaster of major proportions. Talk about disappointing!!! We'll likely go from being ranked No. 5 (an all-time high) to not being ranked at all!
