Easter Roadtrip - The van
We decided to visit our good friends in California for Easter. Air plane tickets for four cost a lot of money. Gas, much, much less. Two three-year-olds and a baby in a van for 26 driving hours? How would it go?
Here's a pic of the traveling duo. They were awesome. SLC - Monterey - Las Vegas - St. George - SLC is a LONG trip. These travelers did great. And, why wouldn't they? With a built in DVD player (Pinocchio 5 times, Robin Hood 3 times -- we do have other DVDs, you know), a few toys, and an abundance of Easter candy, they might have been okay with a few more hours. Robert, well, staring at his brother's and sister's face can be fun and all, but, hey, enough is enough. I have to say, though, he was a trooper; probably complained less then Ben and I if I stop and think about it. Would we embark on this kind of adventure again? You bet!

It looks like you had a great time. Laurel and Ian really know how to show you all a great time. Awesome museums, sleeping in a carnival tent, a boat, two dogs, and the Easter Bunny!
